| The management of the Pre-School is carried out by an elected Management Committee of parents/carers. The Committee is responsible for the employment or staff, finance, reviewing policies and procedures, fundraising etc and give support to the Manager and the Administrator. The Committee is elected each year at our Annual General Meeting which is normally held in October. Joining the Management Committee is a great way to become more involved with the Pre-School. Your support, ideas and suggestions are always very much appreciated.  Alice Brewer Committee Chair I am the mother of three girls. I am a scientist with a background in research chemistry and resigned my job in 2010 to focus on my family. My eldest daughter started at St Martin's Pre-School in September 2010 and I joined the committee as a general member in November 2010.
 Bev Bartlett Deputy Chair/Secretary I am mum to three children Alice at Junior School, Josh at Infant and Billy who attends Pre-School. Since being elected as Chair to the Committee in 2009, I have gained great insight into the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to give our children a memorable experience before school. I have a background in financial planning and management and am currently enjoying a break from work. Committee involvement permits me to revisit some old work skills from time to time, hopefully keeping things fresh should I go back! I have lived in Epsom for eight years and am grateful for the network of friends gained through associations with the schools and pre-school. Great for socialising and a useful list when we have fundraising events to organise!  James Smalley Treasurer I joined the committee as Treasurer in November 2010. I am dad to Holly who is in morning sessions and Alice who started afternoon sessions in September 2011. I am working as a chartered accountant and am enjoying my role as an officer on the committee.  Jane Lyle Member I am a mum of two, Katie who joined PreSchool afternoons in September 2011, and Tom who is one. I joined the committee in October 2011 as I wanted to have an opportunity to get involved in the experiences my children have whilst at school. Previously working variously as a Project Manager, trading manager and accountant, I am currently enjoying a break from work whilst my children are small. Michelle Nixon Member
