Opening Times and Charges

We are open during term time, 38 weeks of the year. Our holidays follow the pattern of the main local public schools, although on occasion there might be a slight variation.

Morning Sessions 3-5 years

Our opening times are 8.45am – 11.45am Monday to Friday

Lunch Club

Lunch Club runs every day from 11.45 – 12.25. The cost is £3.00 per session. Children should be provided with a packed lunch and drink in a named cool bag, or other suitable container. Places in Lunch Club should be booked in advance.

Afternoon Sessions 2-3 years

Our opening times are 12.30pm – 3pm Monday to Friday

Charges

As a Registered Charity, all monies received through fees and fundraising are used for the day to day running costs of operating the Pre-School. Fund-raising is used for purchasing new equipment and subsidising outings.

Our fees are currently £6.00 per hour. An afternoon session therefore costs £15.00 and a morning session £18.00.

However, children are eligible to receive Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE) funding from the start of the term following their 3rd birthday. The Pre-School does not charge fees for funded children, but does ask for a voluntary donation once each term of £40.00.

Fees are reviewed before the start of the autumn term, but may also be reviewed during the year if circumstances dictate.

Fees are payable in full at the beginning of each term for morning children and at the beginning of each half term for afternoon children. Unfortunately, we cannot refund fees if a child is absent for any reason i.e. illness or holiday.

We accept childcare voucher payments and we are registered with most of the main operators including Accor, Computershare, Sodhexho and Edenred.
