Getting involved

Parents/carers, and of course, grandparents are always most welcome as volunteer assistants - your help with the children is invaluable. The children get very excited when it's their turn to introduce Mum, Dad, Granny or Grandad and you'll have fun too. Parental and family involvement engenders a sense of community within the pre-school and often helps volunteers to discover new skills and confidence. We have a volunteer rota displayed on the notice board each half term and you are welcome to add your name at any time!

The other way that parents can get involved with our pre-school is to join our committee. The committee is elected each year at our Annual General Meeting which is normally held in October/November. It is the committee that runs the business side of the pre-school, in close co-operation with the staff. Your support, ideas and suggestions are always very much appreciated.
